Our Fruit Schedule. For our loyal market customers who don’t want to miss their favorite fruit this summer, here’s a rough outline of our fruit harvesting schedule (of course, mother nature could always change things up for us …)
Cherries: Early June to the middle of July. We start with Chelans, then Brooks (Mrs. Baird’s favorite!), Rainiers, Bings, and Lapins, but there are lots of other varieties that we bring along the way.
Peaches and Nectarines: Early July through the middle of October. Sweet Sue is usually the first yellow peach ready for picking and it’s a market favorite! Of course, people always ask about our Suncrest peaches and those are generally ripe around mid-August.
Apples: Our apples are generally ready in October, but our market season slows down by then, so we often make our apples into delicious (no additive!) pure apple cider which we freeze and bring to the market whenever the mood strikes us!
